Les Misérables is simply outstanding

Worth School

Our Senior School production of Les Misérables was the most ambitious show the School has ever performed and a wonderful example of how talented our students are.

Held over three nights last week in the Performing Arts Centre, Les Misérables was a fantastic production which thrilled theatre-goers visiting Worth. The show was entirely sung, with no spoken dialogue, uplifting scenes, beautifully detailed sets, phenomenal music and a talented cast.

Ahead of the show Sam Hiller, the director of Les Misérables in the West End, had visited Worth to work with the cast and then last week the cast of the London show sent a good luck video message to our students and director Mrs Natalie Lynch, Worth’s Head of Drama.

Next on stage at Worth will be the Junior School production of Frozen which takes place on 7 and 8 February. Tickets for frozen are currently on sale at £15 each and can be obtained by emailing theatre@worth.org.uk

Drama at Worth is widely considered to be outstanding, with opportunities for anyone to get involved, three shows a year, regular visiting professionals coming to the School to work with students and the opportunity to learn the technical side of theatre for those who would rather not be on stage.
