Lacrosse at Worth is growing at a fast rate and the School is delighted to establish a link with Reigate Ladies Lacrosse Club.

Mr David McColl, who leads lacrosse at Worth, also coaches at Reigate, who are now training and playing their South East Women’s League matches at Worth. The association is further strengthened by Becca Webb, who is a graduate sports assistant at Worth and also plays for Reigate.

Through the link-up, Worth’s more experienced lacrosse players are getting the opportunity to train with Reigate. Mr McColl said: “It is a really good experience for our girls to be training with a senior team.”

Worth will be heading to the Rendcomb Lacrosse Tournament later this month and lacrosse is also being introduced as part of inter-House sports – under the umbrella of the Worth Community Trophy – in the Summer Term.

As a further significant step, boys’ lacrosse will be offered for the first time at Worth in the Summer Term.
