Worth School

Congratulations to one of our students who has been awarded third prize in a prestigious competition in Poland for high school students interested in commercial law.

Year 13 student Konrad Wojtowicz entered the Polish Moot Court competition – known as Polmoot – with his partner from Dulwich College, Kacper Nowak. They have now heard that they have finished in third place.

Polmoot is a competition organised by students of Batory High School in Warsaw, where entrants can test their rhetorical abilities as well as the skills related to research and use of law. It is divided into three parts: a workshop day during which contestants have a chance to listen to the most prominent figures in the world of law and find out more about the competition; the general eliminations where pairs take part in a simulated hearing of a court proceeding which is judged by professional lawyers; and then the semi-finals and finals.

Well done Konrad. We are proud of you.
