Certificates were presented at the end of the academic year to pupils in Years 7 and 8 for completing the Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS).
JASS is a junior version of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. It is a progressive learning programme for young people which has been designed to recognise wider achievement.
There are four key areas to JASS which pupils need to complete – a skill, a physical aspect, service to the community and an outdoor residential activity.
Well done to all Austin House pupils who completed JASS.
