Interim Head Marisa Bosa talked about “the greatest privilege of my working life” as she reflected on leading Worth for the past six months ahead of the arrival of new Head Ben Pennington.

Ms Bosa has shown excellent leadership since taking on the role in January, overseeing a number of academic achievements as well as Worth hosting its first ever Model United Nations conference, two excellent Drama shows, a series of hugely impressive music concerts and several sporting successes.

From September she will revert to Second Master alongside incoming Head Mr Pennington, although the pair have been working closely since the start of the calendar year to ensure a smooth transition.

In the final assembly of the academic year, Ms Bosa also said: “It has been the honour of my career being Interim Head.” She also spoke about the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, likening it to how students and staff had to adapt in the final week of term when a red weather warning meant activity week plans had to change in the interests of safely and how the world’s greatest footballers have had to adapt to the conditions at the current FIFA World Cup.

Thank you Ms Bosa for leading the School for these last few months. We look forward to the School going from strength to strength with our new leadership team in place.
