Worth’s newly refurbished teaching block has been officially renamed as St Scholastica’s Building.
Five new classrooms, a network room, IT suite and an informal seating area were opened in time for start of the Lent Term and the building for blessed by Abbot Mark at a small ceremony on 10 February. The ceremony included readings from two of our students.
St Scholastica’s is a fitting name not only as she was the sister of St Benedict, but also as she is the patron saint of education.
The refurbished facilities are a welcome addition to the academic heart of the School.
