An inspiring online programme of academic and wider curricular enrichment opportunities has been put together for pupils on a Saturday morning.
The optional programme offers something for everyone. It includes academic and wider curricular choices, with talks, revision classes, academic booster sessions, activities, clubs and societies. The programme will be further developed as the first half of the Lent Term progresses, with pupils being advised each week of what is on offer.
Last week’s Saturday morning programme included such things as Maths and History revision classes for Year 11, German and Spanish language booster classes, Economics support sessions, Oxbridge preparation for Years 10 and 11, a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme support clinic, an introduction to the Extended Project Qualification (EPG), the Debating Society, Camera Club, Film Review Club, a session titled ‘Understanding Maps and Navigation’ and a ‘Design your own city’ activity.
In addition to the optional Saturday morning enrichment opportunities, all pupils are currently taking part in online activities or clubs and societies on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.
