Houses enjoy fun socials

Worth School

A feeling of community resonates throughout Worth and Houses have been coming together towards the end of term for Christmas social events which they have all enjoyed.

This week our youngest pupils, in Years 7 and 8, enjoyed an Austin House Christmas movie night in a marquee which has been put up for our Christmas Cheer event, arranged by the Friends of Worth, our parent association.

As well as watching a move, the pupils enjoyed pizza and popcorn. Housemistress Mrs Anna MacMahon said: “It is important for us all to come together as a House. Thank you to the Friends of Worth for organising this.”

Elsewhere in the School, all 10 Houses have enjoyed Christmas lunches or dinners, while some Houses – including Gervase and Rutherford – have sung carols together.
