With some excellent performances and a lot of fun, all 10 Houses at Worth took to the stage last Friday for Worth’s inaugural House Drama competition.
Farwell House emerged as winners on the evening, with Chapman second and St Mary’s third. The competition was judged by professional actor, singer and dancer Melanie Cripps.
The evening was a huge success. Drama teacher Mr Matthew Wellman said: “We were absolutely delighted about how well House Drama went on Friday evening. It was such a joy seeing so many students finding spaces around the School to rehearse their pieces.
“We were really impressed by the standard of the performances across the board and the Drama department is very proud of all those who took part. Thank you to those who were involved in the evening and we look forward to next year’s, bigger and better, House Drama.”
