House Drama 2025 provides great entertainment

Our third annual House Drama competition produced a fantastic evening of entertainment which hugely impressed professional actor James Camp, who was our guest adjudicator.

All 10 Houses, including our Junior House Austin, took part in the competition with a brief to present a modern adaptation of a folk tale or fairy story which would showcase the unique spirit of each House.

Chapman House were declared winners on the evening for their excellent adaptation of the Little Red Hiding Hood story but all Houses did themselves proud.

Guest judge James Camp said: “What a treat it has been to be here. I am genuinely really impressed; the creativity and inventiveness stood out.”

House Drama is one way of providing an opportunity for all students in the School to get involved with acting.

Worth produces three big shows a year in the Performing Arts Centre theatre. Our next one is the Middle School production of Lord of the Flies on 27 and 28 March. Tickets for this show and the Junior School musical Matilda in June are now on sale at: https://events.liveit.io/worth-school/
