It was a pleasure to welcome Dr Aric Sigman to Worth this week for a series of talks with pupils and parents.
Dr Sigman is an expert psychologist, having written many books in this field, and a renowned lecturer on the subject. In the evening he spoke to current parents in the Spencer Building theatre about child development and online safety, with other parents joining the talk online.
Earlier in the day, Dr Sigman gave five year group talks, encompassing pupils from Year 7 to Year 13, with the talks centred on screen time and, for the older years, on relationships and body image/expectations.
The talks were arranged for pupils as part of our PSHE (Personal, social, health and economic) curriculum.
