Hockey player captains Sussex

Congratulations to Year 11 pupil Emma Wood who captained the Sussex U16 team at the County Hockey Championships during the Easter break.

Emma skippered Sussex against London North and Buckinghamshire on 10 April. This is part of a series of County Championships which run from March until May, with the next tournament taking place on 1 May.

A 1st XI player at Worth, Emma plays club hockey for East Grinstead for their U16s and Ladies’ 2nd XI.

Hockey at Worth is headed up by former Great Britain under-21 international Simon Faulkner, who is currently captain of English Premier League side East Grinstead. Hockey is played by both boys and girls at the School.
