Hockey boys work hard in pre-season

Worth School

Our 1st XI hockey boys were hard at work this week as they enjoyed a day of pre-season training with Head of Hockey and double Olympian Mr Calum Giles.

The boys took part in a number of drills to prepare them for the forthcoming programme of fixtures, which begins with a National Cup tie away to Lancing College tomorrow (Thursday).

Mr Giles has made a big impact on hockey at Worth since joining the School last summer. The focus in the Autumn Term was on girls’ hockey and the 1st XI girls enjoyed a terrific record of of nine wins and two draws from 13 fixtures.
