What a busy term it was! The Lent Term at Worth was rich in activity and events, alongside academic work, and has provided some of the cultural and sporting highlights of the school year.
A vibrant period for the School included a most enjoyable Middle School performance of Peter Pan; an exceptional concert in the Abbey Church, featuring the Orchestra and Concert and Jazz bands, amongst other ensembles; the early stages of the hotly contested House debating competition; Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions to Dartmoor and Exmoor; and the opening of the Spencer Building to Year 13 students. On a sporting front, the U15 rugby team won the Sussex Cup and a girls’ rugby team competed at the national sevens competition for the first time.
We have produced a pictorial review of the Lent Term, showcasing just some of those highlights. We hope you enjoy it!
