The inaugural Worth University Challenge final was a high-class affair which went down to the final question before the boys of Chapman House emerged triumphant against the girls of St Catherine’s.
This new competition, based on the long-running television quiz show, has been taking place throughout the Autumn Term at Worth. Teams of four from the nine senior Houses have been answering a series of tough general knowledge questions.
The final between Chapman and St Catherine’s was a close affair right to the end, before the former claimed victory by 20 points – with one correct answer being the difference.
There was also a charity element to the final with watching students paying £2.50 each, with the money going to the school charity Mary’s Meals.
Well done to Mr Will Warwick for organising a great competition and congratulations to both finalists.
