Harry Potter comes to Worth for two days

Harry Potter came to Worth last week ... in the form of two cross curricular themed days for pupils in Years 7 to 9.

At Worth we try to make learning fun and lessons in different subjects were Harry Potter-themed on Thursday and Friday last week. Science lessons included experiments linked to the novels and films, in English they designed new Hogwarts crests, in Geography they did a ‘The Grounds of Hogwarts Map Challenge’ and in Design and Technology they each made a Golden Snitch. Meanwhile, in Games the children played quidditch.

The two days were fun for pupils while still teaching them new skills.
