It was a busy end to term for Sixth Form students which included an optional trip to London to visit a range of galleries and museums.
More than a third of our Year 13 students took part in the trip, visiting the Saatchi gallery where they had the opportunity to view the current exhibition: ‘The New Black Vanguard; photography between art and fashion’, and complete their own collages.
Other students visited the Army History Museum and there were also opportunities to visit the Serpentine Gallery, Apsley House or the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum. The day concluded with a visit to Winter Wonderland where they enjoyed the fair atmosphere.
Worth’s Sixth Form provision was enhanced substantially in 2022 with the opening of our new Sixth Form Centre in the Spencer Building. The facility, which also includes a library and an auditorium for all pupils, was a £6.25m gift to the School by former Worth student, Lord Spencer of Alresford (Butler House ’73).
