A great term for rugby and hockey

Worth School

Our 1st XV rugby boys finished a hugely successful term with an impressive 22-7 victory away to Caterham School on Wednesday.

The result means the boys have won seven games out of eight in the Daily Mail Trophy this season and eight wins out of 10 in all fixtures, including national cup competitions.

Well done to the boys and to Head of Rugby, Mr Tom Richardson.

It has been a successful term for our senior sports teams and the 1st XI hockey girls have enjoyed a similarly impressive season.

Now benefitting from the coaching of our new Head of Hockey and double Olympian Mr Calum Giles, the girls finished the term with a 1-1 draw away to Cranbrook School which leaves them with an impressive record of nine wins and two draws from 13 fixtures.

Well done girls.
