Great entertainment for boarders

Our Catering team has done a fantastic job hosting themed evenings and cookery masterclasses to keep boarders who have remained on campus during lockdown entertained and happy once their online learning has finished.

During the first half of Lent Term 2021 special evenings have included a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, a Spanish themed evening, ‘Food Truck Festival’, a build your own trifle bar, ‘Sushi Supper’, ‘American Super Bowl Evening’, ‘Chef’s Table’, ‘Kebab Shop’ and a Chinese New Year evening. Cooking masterclasses have included pizza making, cupcake decorating, breadmaking and a choux pastry masterclass.

This has been a marvellous effort by the Catering team to offer such a variety of fun social events to this group of pupils who are in one boarding bubble. We cannot wait for UK schools to reopen so that every pupil can share the enjoyment.
