It was great to welcome former students, spanning many years, back on to campus last Saturday as a range of Worthian sports fixtures took place alongside Worth’s Welcome Festival.
Worth Society, the School’s alumni association, arranges a variety of events throughout any academic year including careers and networking evenings, reunion dinners and social events. The society also has a number of sports clubs which play regular fixtures.
As part of the school’s day of celebration last Saturday, there was an ‘Older versus Younger’ Worthian rugby match, with the Glenn Robertson Memorial Trophy presented to the winners by Head Master Mr Stuart McPherson. There were also hockey, netball and tennis matches between former and current students.
Students are encouraged to stay in touch after they leave the School through Worth Society, which offers lifelong support and guidance.
