Worth School

Rocket Club is one of a number of new activities, clubs and societies set for takeoff at Worth in the Summer Term.

The School offers a broad range of more than 150 activities, clubs and societies to choose from each week through our extensive co-curricular programme. This list changes each term, with new options regularly added.

Among the new choices for the Summer Term is Rocket Club, a national competition where Sixth Form students compete to build a fuel propelled rocket. Pupils from all year groups can choose to join the Classical and Ancient History Society, exploring the fascinating world of Ancient Greece, Egypt and Rome.

A new Junior Geography Society is available to Years 7 to 9, Alpha Club – which is an opportunity to explore faith in a club led by Sixth Formers – is open to Years 9 and 10, while Dare Dance Academy is coming into the School to teach varying disciplines of dance, including hip hop, breaking, locking and house moves.

Our lacrosse activity is now open to boys as well as girls, while in Dobble Club students play a fast-paced and fun card game that enhances visual perception and cognitive skills.

All Worth pupils are encouraged to engage and participate wholeheartedly in our co-curricular programme.
