Year 10 iGCSE Geography pupils visited Stratford and the Olympic Park development this week to conduct urban fieldwork.

The pupils carried out various activities including questionnaires, environmental quality indexes, crime surveys and a land use survey. They also completed a sketch map in order to compare ‘Old’ Stratford with ‘New’ Stratford and to consider how urban regeneration has affected the quality of life in East London.

The trip was an important part of their course, complementing what they have been studying in the classroom.
