Geography field trip to London

Field trips are a required part of the GCSE Geography curriculum and last week Year 10/Pre-IB Geography pupils visited Stratford and the Olympic Park development to conduct important urban fieldwork.

The pupils carried out various activities including questionnaires, environmental quality indexes, crime surveys and a land use survey. They also completed a sketch map to compare ‘Old’ Stratford with ‘New’ Stratford and to consider how urban regeneration has affected the quality of life in East London.
