The entire Worth community is immensely proud of our 2023 GCSE cohort. Pupils have surpassed expectations, many of which averaged a score of 7-9 across all their subjects. This is an outstanding achievement for a year group that suffered at such a young age from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Daniel Coughlan, the Deputy Head (Academic), said: “Congratulations to pupils and staff on these remarkable results. There are many notable achievements, whether that be individual pupils achieving all top grades or the fact that all departments, across dozens of different subject areas, have helped pupils achieve the highest grades.”
Mrs Sarah Flint, the Head of Middle School, commented: “Congratulations to Year 11 for their hard work – they have come a long way over the past few years and finish the year with grades to be proud of. They are well equipped for further success and we look forward to seeing them again soon to commence what will be an exciting new stage in their academic journey.”
