Gardening Club

We are very lucky at Worth to have a large garden, greenhouse and wildlife pond. These all need maintaining throughout the year, with planting and weeding, but we are also hoping to sow native species around the site to encourage more butterflies and pollinating insects. This can also count as a service project for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Ideas for new planting such as herb beds, medicinal plants, and vegetables are welcomed, along with building wildlife “homes” for hedgehogs, frogs and hibernating insects.

We will also assist the Worth Parish with maintaining some of their sites around their grounds.
