Pupils from the nine senior Houses at Worth had great fun last Friday evening as they took part in the first part of the annual House Music competition.
With an impressive rendition of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, which involved a slick costume change and mash-up of Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics, the boys in Rutherford House emerged victorious on the evening to claim the ‘House Shout’ title. The second part of the competition will follow in the Lent Term.
The evening featured performances from each of the Houses with songs by ABBA, Queen, Elton John, Katy Perry and The Wanted. Other highlights included boys in Gervase singing a Spice Girls song and the appearance of an inflatable dinosaur.
The most important aspect was that all our pupils had fun and it was a great way to launch a packed weekend of activities at Worth. This Friday sees the inaugural House Drama competition taking place.
