As part of the School’s outreach programme, Year 5 children from Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School in Crawley have been coming to Worth to take part in outdoor activities and learn IT skills.
Two groups have been coming on to campus for the last two weeks, with one taking part in Forest School activities in woods on the campus, including building dens and clay modelling, assisted by our own Sixth Form students and under the guidance of Worth staff qualified to teach Forest School. Meanwhile a second group has been learning IT skills in our new network room including computer programming, PowerPoint and IT projects that could be linked back to their curriculum.
It has been great to welcome these children on to campus and also rewarding for our own students to work with them.
