Former students make flying visit

Our first talk in the Spencer Lecture Series this academic year took place last Thursday with former Worth students Connor Thornton Clark and Piers Spencer talking about ‘The World of Aviation’.

Connor is a commercial pilot working for British Airways while Piers has a private pilot licence and enjoys flying for fun. The pair are friends from their time at Worth and they were joined for the talk by another former student from their year group, Alex Fielder.

There were some fantastic questions from students at the end, with all agreeing they had learned a lot from the talks.

The Spencer Lecture Series provides students with a broad range of thought-provoking talks on a variety of subjects. In December, Hollywood actor Jim Piddock – who is an Old Worthian – will be at the School to talk about his career.
