Good food is at the heart of our health and wellbeing at Worth.
Meal times at Worth are more than just a meal on the plate – it’s about engaging and developing a positive, healthy relationship around delicious food. Our highly-skilled chefs always serve the very best fresh seasonal ingredients prepared with care and innovation whether it is in the Refectory, the main dining hall, or the Pitstop, the café open throughout the day.
Every day we take pride in offering a varied choice of healthy, tasty, well-balanced meals using Red Tractor meat and sustainable fish while including lots of vegetable and fruit options. There is also a salad bar every day and all food is cooked from scratch on site, working with local producers. A priority for us is providing real variety and balance for boarders who start their morning with breakfast and look forward to a homely, welcoming supper at the end of the day. The School has a 5* hygiene rating.
The fully refurbished Refectory offers cafeteria service and a wide choice from a varied menu at each breakfast, lunch and supper meal time. Menus run on a three-weekly basis.
The needs and tastes of every pupil differ and menus are designed to accommodate this, and we can provide for all dietary requirements. The student-led food council enables students to have a meaningful say in shaping the seasonal menus to include the meals they enjoy most.
