Worth School

Good food is at the heart of our health and wellbeing at Worth.

Meal times at Worth are more than just a meal on the plate – it’s about engaging and developing a positive, healthy relationship around delicious food. We always serve the very best fresh seasonal ingredients prepared with care and innovation whether it is in the Refectory, the main dining hall, or the Pitstop, the café open throughout the day.

Worth has been awarded the ‘Gold Award for Healthy Eating’ for the nutritional standard of food served on a daily basis. Every day our chefs serve up a varied choice of healthy, tasty, well-balanced meals using Red Tractor meat and sustainable fish while including lots of vegetable and fruit options. Our food is cooked from scratch on site, including our ‘Worth Bakery’ that provides fresh bread on a daily basis. Providing real variety and balance for boarders who start their morning with breakfast and look forward to a homely, welcoming supper at the end of the day is a priority for us.

The fully refurbished Refectory offers cafeteria service and a wide choice from a varied menu at each breakfast, lunch and supper meal time. Menus run on a four-weekly basis.

The Pitstop is used as a café and is open all day.
