Worth School

Worth’s equestrian team has enjoyed further success including a team of three students finishing first in a show jumping competition, plus a number of excellent individual results.

The School had a number of riders competing in the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Eventers Challenge and Grassroots Show Jumping competition at Felbridge Show Ground on Sunday.

In the show jumping competition Luke, Harry and Amelie helped Team Worth place first in the 60cm class, Harry placed first individually in both the 60cm and 70cm classes, while Amelie placed second in the 70cm class. All of these results meant qualification for the Grassroots Championships and the Hickstead Festival.

In the Eventers Challenge, Charlie and Eva jumped in the 70-75 class while Eliza jumped in the 80-85 class. Charlie placed third in his class, meaning he has qualified for the NSEA Championships, while Eva and Eliza came 15th in their classes.

Well done to all riders who represented the School.
