Boys in Farwell are collectively running, cycling and walking from Worth to Mumbai to raise money for their House charity.
The House is supporting the wonderful work of the OSCAR Foundation which is transforming young people’s lives through education and football in Mumbai. The charity uses football as a tool to teach young people from the Ambedkar Nagar slums to raise their aspirations, empowering them to fight for their right to an education and access to basic facilities.
Each member of the Farwell community has been set a personal challenge to run/cycle/walk a minimum of 100k before 25 December. With former students and families also invited to join in, they hope to collectively cover the 5,450 miles from Worth School to Mumbai.
Together they hope to raise £1,000. Anyone who is able to support them should go to: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/FarwellHouse
