From Shakespeare to JFK, Chaucer to Batman, covering the history of medicine and the ancient Olympic Games, a series of fascinating lectures form part of our optional online Saturday morning enrichment programme.
As was the case in the first lockdown, a series of lectures delivered by staff members are available for pupils to enjoy. Titles include ‘Shakespeare’s Classical World’, ‘The ancient and modern Olympics Games’ and ‘From Bandits to Batman’.
In addition to these lectures there are plenty of other enrichment opportunities which pupils can take advantage of. They include clubs and societies such as Astronomy Club, Camera Club, Debating Society, Junior Book Club, Film Review Club and Young Medics, plus language booster sessions, coursework support, revisions sessions, Oxford and Cambridge preparation, a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award support clinic and an online band for all years with Mr Brito, Director of Music.
