Our second annual House Drama competition was a fabulous occasion with a range of excellent performances judged by professional actor Bryony Corrigan, who is particularly known for My Lady Jane, The Walk-In and Good Omens.

Nine houses took part in the competition, performing a monologue/dialogue and a group piece or just a group piece, lasting 10 minutes in total. The theme for the group piece was, “What if AI takes over the world?”

Rutherford were declared as winners on the evening from St Catherine’s in second place and Chapman in third. In addition to the House Drama trophy, there are also awards for best actor, best ensemble, best costume, best team member and most creative use of a prop, each of which will be announced and presented in a forthcoming assembly.

Well done to all Houses for delivering an excellent evening of entertainment.
