An evening with Jodie Steele

West End star Jodie Steele was at Worth just before half term to give Drama students a performance masterclass.

The evening began with a Q&A session with Jodie, led by Drama teacher Mr Matthew Wellman. Jodie spoke about her career and gave excellent advice to our students, including telling them to work hard in pursuit of their dreams and to never stop learning.

This was followed by a session when Jodie was joined on stage by students in the Performing Arts Centre to learn some dance routines and talk about tips to improve their performances.

Jodie has an impressive list of theatre credits including Rock of Ages, Heathers the Musical, Wicked, Six, Jesus Christ Superstar, FAME and Legally Blonde, to name just a few. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet and talk to someone with a wealth of industry experience.
