Current England hockey international Pippa Lock has joined Worth to add an extra dimension to our excellent coaching provision.

Pippa, who made her senior international debut against USA earlier this year, is currently working with our students to develop their hockey skills.

A club player with East Grinstead in the National Women’s Premier Division, she has also played for England at U18 and U21 level, and is currently part of the Great Britain Elite Development Programme.

Pippa has been coaching since the age of 16 and is enjoying working with the girls at Worth. She said: “I am really excited to help their development. Hopefully I can grow their confidence and skills on and off the pitch.”

Hockey at Worth is led by former Great Britain under-21 international Mr Simon Faulkner and the 1st XI girls are currently on a five-match unbeaten run, which includes four wins and a draw. As well as 16 girls’ representative teams, we also run 15 boys’ teams in the Lent Term.
