Duo impress in French debating competition

Well done to Regitze (Year 12 IB) and Giulio (Year 12 A Level) for taking part and performing exceptionally well at the French debating competition which took place online for the first time on Tuesday evening.

They met tough competition, many contestants already in Year 13, and were allocated difficult sides to take on three different motions, one of which was ‘Artificial intelligence is a threat to humanity’. The Year 12 duo scored very high marks but were beaten to the finals by Year 13 students. It was a great experience and a fantastic way to practise and show off their French speaking skills.
