Worth School Bursary Fund
Worth has a long tradition of providing bursarial support to families with limited means as part of our ethos as a Catholic School, and we currently provide bursaries to a number of talented boys and girls with the determination to succeed. Our aim now is to build up our bursary fund so that more pupils may benefit for years to come from all the richness that Worth has to offer, no matter their background or financial means.
Bursaries have the power to transform lives, the life of the individual recipient and also the lives of their families and communities. The experience of a Worth education will open doors for boys and girls from every part of society and give them a wealth of opportunities they would not otherwise have. Worth is uniquely positioned to provide this education through our excellent pastoral care and strong values, as well as our rigorous academic standards. Our house system ensures a standard of care necessary for both academic success and emotional wellbeing. Our co-curricular programme provides opportunities to learn about life in its broader context, allowing our pupils to explore and grow beyond the classroom. We take pride in the education and experiences we offer and our vision is to share this with others who we know will thrive given the chance.
This is education with heart and soul.
We now seek donations to enhance our existing bursaries provision. Your support is invaluable and will allow us to open the doors of Worth to future generations. If you share our vision of making a difference through outstanding education, please consider making a gift, at any level, to our Worth School Bursary Fund. Your gift will be life-changing. Library and Sixth Form Study Centre
Construction of the new Library and Sixth Form Centre has begun and is scheduled to be completed in August 2021. This building will offer a number of exciting new opportunities for pupils at Worth. It will incorporate a new school library and a small auditorium for all pupils, and the Sixth Form Centre will provide seminar rooms, study and social spaces for our Sixth Form pupils to come together socially and intellectually in a stimulating, pre-university experience. It will also have offices in which key staff – such as the heads of Sixth Form, IB, Careers, and Higher Education – will be readily available to offer support and advice to our pupils in their vitally-important final two years. The new centre is the extraordinary gift to the School from a former Worth student, Lord Spencer of Alresford (Butler House ’73).
We are currently awaiting planning approval for this exciting project: a new 3G pitch for rugby and football use. If you are interested in hearing more about the project or would like to offer your support, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Legacies at Worth
Some members of our wider community are at the stage in life when they begin to consider what their final legacy will be. Once family and friends are appropriately remembered, thoughts often turn to charities and institutions which figure prominently in a person's life. For many, the years spent at school are some of the most significant and life-forming times. This is especially true at Worth, not only because of the excellent education provided, but also because of the spiritual guidance provided by the monks of Worth Abbey. Pledging a legacy provides you with the chance to make a charitable gift in your will, which has no cost to you during your lifetime.
When you choose to make an unrestricted gift, the donation will be directed to the area of greatest need. The donation could be put towards the Worth School Bursary Fund, capital projects or other smaller projects that are currently prioritized in the school's strategic plan.
