Debating successes recognised

Debating is a real strength at Worth and it was lovely to see some of our recent successes rewarded with the presentation of ties to members of the Senior Debating Society.

Since winning a national competition – the Ethics Cup – in 2022, the success stories have continued with Worth reaching the Regional Final of the English-Speaking Union Competition for the first time in the School’s history in March 2023.

Worth also runs a thriving House debating competition each year, which all year groups are able to compete in, and this Friday there will be a ‘Students v Teachers’ charity debate to raise money for Save The Children.

Debating ties were presented at the final assembly of the Lent Term.
