Many congratulations to former Worth student and talented cricketer Claudie Cooper who made her senior debut for South East Stars in the Charlotte Edwards Cup at Lord’s last week, opening the bowling in a four-wicket win against Sunrisers.
Claudie then followed this up the following day by taking match-best figures of 3-12 from four overs as South East Stars lost by two wickets to Northern Diamonds at The Oval. Her third senior appearance followed on Sunday when she helped her side beat Western Storm by five runs at Taunton.
Worth has been voted as one of The Cricketer magazine’s top schools for cricket in the UK for five years in row, based on the cricket programme we offer for both boys and girls including coaching, fixtures and facilities.
Well done Claudie.
