Cipher Challenge

Co-Curriculum
Worth School

The Cipher Challenge is a code breaking competition presented by The School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of South Hampton. Staff will assist Worth pupils to decrypt this year's secret message.

Teams from more than 700 schools from around the UK and as far afield as Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and Hawaii compete to decrypt ciphers that uncover a mystery storyline. Who will be the first to find the secret message?

The University has been running this popular event for several years in partnership with BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT, Government Communications Headquarters, Trinity College Cambridge, Winton Capital, Netcraft and IBM.
