Chemistry talks inspire students

Year 12 Chemistry students enjoyed a fascinating day as they attended a ‘Chemistry in Action’ event at the Emmanuel Centre in London earlier this week.

The day included a series of interesting lectures by experienced scientists from academia and industry which both supported their Sixth Form studies and encouraged them to pursue chemistry beyond the School at university and in careers.

The Science department is running a similar trip to a ‘Physics in Action’ day at the Emmanuel Centre on Monday.
