Charity hockey match planned

Worth 1st XI hockey girls have organised a Sixth Form versus staff charity match to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, which is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity.

This event was introduced at Worth last year and raised £1,100. That total has already been exceeded ahead of this year's match but the girls are hoping to raise a lot more.

The match will take place on Thursday 30 November when a Sixth Form team will play against staff. There will be food and drink available on the evening, as well as a bucket collection, with current parents welcome to attend. Anyone coming along is being encouraged to wear pink.
