A wonderful year for Drama at Worth was celebrated with a red carpet, glitzy awards evening last Friday.

Sam Hiller, resident director of Les Misérables in the West End, was our special guest for the first ever Worth Drama Awards Evening in the Performing Arts Centre.

The Drama department has put on four fabulous shows this academic year: Les Misérables (Senior School), Electra (Middle School), Frozen (Junior School) and Blue Stockings (Drama Scholars). For each show, awards were presented for Best Newcomer, Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor.

There were additional awards for Technician of the Year, Young Performer of the Year, Singer of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Drama. The evening concluded with the presentation of the Lynch Cup for Performer of the Year to Misha Hawksley.

Congratulations to all our winners and well done to everyone involved with Drama at Worth this year – actors and backstage crew – for another outstanding year.
