A hugely successful year for Worth’s Debating Society concluded with the presentation of ties to Sixth Form students just before the end of term.
Members of the Senior Debating Society gathered in the Cowdray Room to receive their ties from Second Master, Mr André Gushurst-Moore.
The Society was introduced for the 2020-21 academic year after the absence of a number of years and school teams reached both the regional finals of the English-Speaking Union Schools’ Mace competition and the quarter-finals of the Elite International Debating Competition. In addition, an inter-House competition for the Debating Cup was introduced with all 10 Houses entering teams.
The Debating Society is one of the many academic enrichment and co-curricular opportunities available at Worth. For more about what we offer click here.
