Celebrating excellent Sixth Form results 2026

Worth students have much to celebrate following this year’s A Level, IB Diploma and BTEC results.

Our overall outcomes are as follows.

There were some notable high achievers, with several pupils obtaining three or four A/A* grades at A Level, including those achieving three or four straight A*s. In Business BTEC, 92% of pupils achieved a Distinction or Distinction*. These results followed last month’s impressive IB Diploma results, which were among Worth’s best in the last decade. A number of pupils achieved over 40 points (the equivalent of 4 A*s at A Level).  

Pupils are now progressing to a range of leading UK universities and degree courses. Notable destinations include Imperial College London to study Physics, Durham University for Economics and Mathematics, and for Mathematics, King’s College London for Mathematics and Philosophy, and the University of Exeter for Modern Languages, and for Sociology.

The Deputy Head (Academic), Dr Daniel Coughlan, commented: “Many congratulations to our students and staff on this year’s A Level, IB Diploma and BTEC results. These outcomes reflect the hard work, commitment and resilience shown by our pupils throughout their Sixth Form studies, as well as the dedication of their teachers. We are immensely proud of all our leavers and wish them every success as they embark on the next stage of their education and careers.”

The Head of Sixth Form, Mr Matthew Doggett, said: “Alongside this year’s strong International Baccalaureate results, these A Level and BTEC outcomes mean that the vast majority of Worth leavers have secured places at one of their chosen universities, with the clear majority obtaining their first-choice destination. We congratulate all our Year 13 students on their achievements and look forward to following their future successes.”

*By using UCAS tariff points, which standardise the value of qualifications such as A Levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTECs, we can compare different qualifications and present a unified set of results.
