Students in Year 12 were given the opportunity to think about life beyond Worth as we hosted our annual Careers Convention on Monday.

A wide range of speakers delivered inspiring talks on careers including the RAF, events and marketing, medicine, law, banking and entrepreneurship.

Speakers included a mixture of former Worth students, Worth parents and external professionals. These included entrepreneur Neil Laughton, fellow Worthian and barrister Chris McCourt and Buss Murton Law.

Another Worthian, James Chaplin, ended the day with a fascinating talk on ‘The Future of Work: How to stay ahead of the AI Tsunami’.

The Careers Convention was part activities week at Worth which, for Year 12, also included a further education day on Tuesday.
