Actor and comedian Brian Conley will headline our fabulous charity show West End to Worth on Saturday 14 January – and there are still some tickets left for the evening.

Well known as a comedian, singer and television presenter, Brian Conley has appeared as Tom ‘Rocky’ Cotton in EastEnders since 2021. He will be performing comedy for this spectacular evening at Worth.

The show is being run in partnership with West End actor Matthew Goodgame and will be raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Matthew, who is currently starring in Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly Theatre, has been a friend of Worth since teaching our students how to hand jive ahead of last year’s production of Grease.

Other confirmed acts are The Spinettes, who are a vintage harmony trio, and Ashley Stillburn, who played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera in the West End last year. There will also be performances from professional singer Darryn Watkins and The Adult West End Choir, which features three Worth staff members – Head of Drama Mrs Natalie Lynch, Mrs Caroline Burton and Mrs Sarah Flint.

This fabulous evening of entertainment will be raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and will see Worth students performing alongside the professionals and celebrities.

The Alzheimer’s Society is a charity close to the heart of Matthew Goodgame but there are lots of people within the Worth community whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s or dementia in one way or another.

Tickets cost £40 and include a canapé and fizz reception. This is excellent value to see numerous West End stars as well as our own talented students. Dress code is glitz and glamour, with the evening starting at 6pm and finishing at about 11pm. Please support this evening if you can, with all money raised going to the Alzheimer’s Society. There are some tickets left which can be booked by emailing: theatre@worth.org.uk
