Boarders enjoy a fun weekend

Boarding girls had great fun with a variety of weekend activities to mark the start of the academic year.

St Mary’s – which is split in Middle and Sixth – is the girls’ boarding House at Worth and there were a number of events organised for the first weekend of the year which the girls got involved in. These included social events, House hockey, a barbecue and rounders. There was also a Matriculation Ball for those starting Year 12.

All the boarding Houses at Worth organised events for what is known as ‘Closed Weekend’. As our pictures show, boys in St Bede’s went to Thorpe Park while Rutherford went to Airsoft, which is a fun activity.
