Berlin trip is informative and humbling
Thu, Nov 3rd, 2022
At the start of half term there was a Year 11 History trip to Berlin which enabled pupils to consolidate the GCSE History course.
The trip followed the stories of Nazi Germany from its origins to the fall of the Berlin Wall. The pupils, who are studying Nazi Germany and the Cold War, visited Sachsenhausen concentration camp, the Berlin Wall memorial, the Reichstag Building – which is the German parliament – and a spy museum.
The trip was enjoyable, informative and humbling, and also gave pupils great insight into historical events that they are covering.
Here are a few pictures from the trip.
