Our Senior Debating Society again performed extremely well when taking part in the regional final of the English-Speaking Union Debating Competition.
There were two debates and the Worth team were the Government on the debate: This house would ban gambling. It was a demanding competition as speakers need to prepare a seven-minute presentation as well as reflecting what happened on the floor.
With only one team going through, Worth missed out but the feedback from the judge was that the Worth team was good enough to have gone through. Well done to our team members.
The School offers both a Junior and a Senior Debating Society as part of the Co-Curriculum programme.
